Isaiah 37:26-28

^26 (A)Have you not heard?
Long ago I did it,
From ancient times I ^(B)planned it.
Now ^(C)I have brought it about
That ^(D)you would turn fortified cities into ^(E)ruined heaps.
²⁷ Therefore their inhabitants were ^[a]powerless,
They were shattered and put to shame;
They were like the ^(F)vegetation of the field and the green grass,
Like ^(G)grass on the housetops ^[b]that is scorched before it has grown.
²⁸ But I ^(H)know your sitting down,
Your going out, your coming in,
And your raging against Me.
